Search giant, Google, is hosting a special event in San Francisco on Tuesday, October 4, where it is expected to unveil two new smartphones, Google Pixel and Pixel XL. Apart from these, many other hardware announcements including Google Home and 4K ready Chromecast are expected to be made during the event.

This time Google will be ending its Nexus branding and have a complete Google branding. The phone is being manufactured by HTC, but Google is taking care of its design and hardware. This will be one of the premium smartphones from the company and will have a premium pricing of minimum $649.

The event will start in San Francisco from 9:30 IST on Tuesday and a livestream of the same will be available on YouTube.
Let us take a quick look at the specifications of the two phones:
• Google Pixel will have a 5-inch display while Pixel XL will have 5.5-inch display,
• Both the phones will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with 4GB RAM,
• The phones will have unibody design coupled with dual-tone metal and glass,
• Google Pixel will run Android Nougat 7.1,
• The phones will have additional software features on the search bar,
• Pixel phones will have something extra than Vanilla Android.
The launch date of these Google smartphones in India or globally is not yet announced. So, we will have to wait for Google to bring these smartphones in India and to see what kind of pricing they come with.
