The cacophony in the crowd was unmatched as actors Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor were expected to walk the ramp foru00a0designer Rohit Bal's finale at the recently-concluded India Fashion Week in Delhi. As the finale line-up of models were shooed on to the ramp, models and the crowd cheered for Rohit, who had created a spectacular show. If there is any designer who knows how to rock a show, it's our dear old Gudda.

After five long days of fittings, the week kickstarted at Pragati Maidan with a few hiccups here and there.

Models were stuck as far as parking our vehicles went, and the lunch buffet was too far away for us to trudge to every now and then. But everything was in order from Day 2. Backstage after the show, we hugged and cried, most daggers that had been drawn through the week, returned to their cases.

Like every other fashion week, this too had been high on stress, entertainment, and sadly Bollywood. Regarding the touchy topic of movie stars walking the ramp, I think the credit goes to the not so confident, media hungry designers. If it's a commercial event that demands they put up a dramatic show, the move is justified. But at a fashion week, which is about serious design, actors have no place.

The makeu2013up and hair room is usually the hotspot for all model confrontations, and it lived up to its reputation this time around too. Most arguments involve issues as trivial as who goes first for makeu2013up. But no matter what happens backstage, when we walk the ramp, we walk united.u00a0u00a0

With early morning reporting and late night rehearsals and fittings, this fashion week has sapped me of every ounce of energy. But countless cans of an energy drink saw me through.

Like every other fashion week, this one too has cost me lots my hair is a mess and my skin has pretty much peeled off with all the abuse. So, I will be heading straight to a spa to pamper myself before I make yet another beautiful mistake of walking the fashion week ramp again.
