My hearty congratulations to your newspaper for completing 30 years. I have been an ardent reader of MiD DAY since its inception in 1979 and have grown up with it.

However, I felt let down that there was also not a single contest for your readers.

MiD DAY's 30th anniversary issue is a treasure, which needs to be preserved. Even though the copy was not available in Sanpada, I asked my son to buy it from Mumbai. From A for Amitabh Bachchan to Z for Zeenat Aman we got the glimpse of all the actors as well as the batting legend Sachin Tendulkar. The anniversary issue was interesting to read and it a big hit among the readers. Kudos to MiD DAY.

However, you should have given more importance to sports. A write up on Saina Nehwal, Abhinav Bindra or Sania Mizra would have given more weightage to the special issue.u00a0
