The sudden, shocking death of young director Manish Acharya has killed many dreams. One of them is the desi remake of the Kate Hudson-Anne Hathaway 2009 comedy Bride Wars.

Manish's first feature film The Loins Of Punjab Presents had impressed Fox Studios and Shrishti Behl enough to sign him on to write and direct the Bride Wars remake with Priyanka Chopra playing Kate Hudson's role.

Manish had just put the final touches to the script and wasu00a0 ready to start shooting when he lost his life in a freak accident.
