Dear Diana, I am 34 and physically challenged.
I recently registered myself on a matrimonial site but haven’t received a single proposal even though I’ve mentioned that I’m looking for someone who is also physically challenged. All my friends who are not physically challenged are married. I am educated and earning well, yet I feel lonely. My parents want me to settle down but I don’t think they are doing much.

Every physically challenged individual has a right to live a fulfilling life like anyone else. Everyone has feelings and wants to be loved. Unfortunately people can’t see beyond the physical challenge. I can understand your concerns. But how can you say that your parents are not concerned? I am sure they are on the lookout. Perhaps they are not voicing their anxieties to you because they don’t want to upset you. Every parent wants the best for their child. But unfortunately most people cannot see the goodness, love, heart and soul of the physically challenged. I am sure there is someone for you. So don’t give up. I am sure you will come across a likeminded guy.
