I have everything one could possibly want... except her!

People say that God never gives everything to everyone

I have everything one could possibly want... except her!

Dear Diana,

People say that God never gives everything to everyone. Is it true? Here's my case. I'm filthy rich, I have a sweet kid, great parents and I enjoy life every way I can. So why can't I forget my past? Why can't I erase her memories? I drink more often because of this.

And when I drive... I seek her everywhere. I hear the music and watch the movies she loved everywhere I go. We parted ways two years ago but I still wanna call her, talk to her.... Moe often than not, my ego comes in the way and I wait for her call. Diana, you solve everyone's problems.

You must be very happy with your life. Has God given you everything? Please help me. I have everything yet am unhappy. Gimme a reason to smile.

Mehul

Dear Mehul,

Enjoy what you have and be content with the little joys life has to offer. You have become a loser in love purely of choice. You chose to be this way. Find happiness in bringing up your child. Seek happiness in caring for your parents. Find friendship and love among new people.

Liqour and lost love never mix well. The longer you hold on to her memories, the more they will hurt you. If at all you do seek closure, call her. Figure out if there is anything that can be salvaged in what you once shared. Also, understand that God blesses.

God also gives sufferings so you may learn to appreciate those blessings. God gives and He takes away. One learns to be content and find happiness in what one has. Smile because you have what most people don't and what you take for granted. Smile because it's easier to do than frowning. Smile because it won't hurt you one bit. Be optimistic and be the physician to your own broken heart.

Too nice to be my boyfriend?

Dear Diana,

I'm totally confused about what to do. I broke up last night with my boyfriend of 16 months and I just feel so confused about whether I am still in love with him. He's the nicest guy in the world and I know he loves me so much, but recently I've started to feel more like he's my best friend than my lover.

Shahana

Dear Shahana,

If you mean that you don't see yourself as too comfortable about getting intimate with him, that's because you have begun to take his presence in your life, for granted. Try a trial separation and if you can live a life apart, please do. If you cannot, you will have got your answer. Letting go, without offering him an explanation, will confuse him to no end.

She says we're too old to try new things in bed

Dear Diana,

I'm 60. I don't think I have ever "enjoyed" sex. And now that I have understood that there's a world I haven't experienced, my wife isn't interested. What should I do?

Ravi

Dear Ravi,

Well, for one, it's never too late to try out new things. No matter how old you are, you always keep learning new things. Age is in the mind and I think you should make your wife aware of how beautiful she still is. Maybe then, you might just get lucky.
