I recently started working. One of the guys at my work place is really sweet. Another girl in the office fancies him and literally stalks him. She keeps questioning him. I think he is drawn to me as he keeps telling me about this girl and how demanding she is. After work, we also take the office bus home together as we stay close by. Sometimes, he gets his bike and offers me a lift home. He knows that every Sunday morning I am at a joggers park in the vicinity. So he often turns up there. We have long chats. He talks to me about everything. I really like this guy, but I’m not getting any signals that he likes me . I can’t stop thinking about him. We are both 23 and it is his first job as well. I think I have found the man of my dreams, now if only he gave some hints.

He has been dropping hints all this while. Why on earth would he be there early Sunday morning when you are taking a walk? Why would he offer you a lift home? Why would he have such long conversations with you? It is your first time and in all probability it is also his. So, he may not been saying it loud and clear, but he is definitely interested in you. It is just that he is playing safe and going slow. May be he, too, is trying to gauge what is going on in your mind. You are young, so there is no hurry to be in a relationship. Just keep the conversations flowing and sooner or later, he will tell you. At the same time, you too drop hints that you care. But do remember that you have just started working and it is important that you don’t lose focus from your work. At the present juncture of your life, it is the work that matters. Let him be your best buddy for now to laugh and talk with. For now you don’t need to be his girlfriend, just be his friend and let things take its normal course.
