In a study of mobile phone habits, about 75 per cent of those questioned admitted to surfing the web, using apps, emailng and texting while in the toilet -- with more than 90 per cent saying they had even returned calls.

And they did it seemingly unfazed by the prospect of accidentally activating the iPhone FaceTime video feature or the potential for people to hear dubious noises coming from the cubicle, the Daily Mail reported.
The research, who surveyed 1,000 people, also revealed that cubicle activities would be determined by the type of Smartphone you owned.
It found that Android owners were more likely those who like to multi-task by doing a number of things while using a range of apps.
While Blackberry users tended to take and make calls, those with iPhones were more like to be playing with apps.
