The mythical Greek princess Helen of Troy was known to be the face that launched a thousand ships. In Geeta Basra's case, instead of a fleet of ships, she seems to have caused a rift between her alleged beau, cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his business partner, Chandan Madan
Apparently, their differences were so intense that it led to Harbhajan folding up his production banner even before it could be launched formally.

Insiders say all hell broke loose when Geeta expressed her desire to be part of Bhajji’s company. She also apparently started interfering in the running of the production house, which was the main reason of the pack-up.
Says a source, “Harbhajan and Chandan were in talks with some directors who they wanted to sign but apparently also because of some budget issues, the deal didn’t work out. Geeta wanted things her way and Chandan did not approve of it. Most probably, Harbhajan will not launch the production house in partnership with Chandan.”
However, a friend of Chandan, who answered the phone on his behalf, rubbishes all rumours of their alleged tiff. He says, “Bhajji is out of the country right now and once he comes back, they will decide when to launch the production house. There were no differences between Geeta and Chandan. She is also co-operating and the movies are in pre-production stage. I will call you next week and tell the details.” Geeta remained unavailable for comment.
