It's all about the music

Working on his music
I’ve been low profile all my life. I have always said that when I have something to express or say, I will do it without hesitation. I’m not going to force myself on listeners. I won’t do that; that’s not me That does not mean that I’m not writing or not recording. But I don’t think it’s the time for me yet to come out with a different new expression. I’m still working on it, trying to understand it and become comfortable with it because music has definitely progressed. I play better than what I used to play before. I’ve been spending more time with myself and my music, and when I’m ready with it, it’ll come out.

Changing perspectives
The music never went anywhere. When perspectives changed, the musicians and artists got a bit stumped, but that doesn’t mean that they stopped writing music. They are just waiting for the right time to express themselves. That’s happening now. Whatever musical revolution people are talking about, never really ended. But if you have to reach a destination, you have to climb the mountain and that takes time. So if the journey is too comfortable, then there’s something wrong with it. It has to be difficult, it has to have some character, there has to be a reason to climb it. That’s happening now.

Risks worth taking
The thing I’m doing now is that I’m developing ideas. They develop in bits and pieces and I mix and match them when the time comes. It took me to two to three years to release an album. I’m not working for a market. I work because I love to write and bring our music. I work with good people, so when something comes out of that association it becomes an album. And that’s something that’s happening already. We have to take certain risks as music companies don’t do that. I feel that if we don’t show them the way, they won’t know how to do go about it. They understand making bills but not the rest of the stuff. So we’re the ones who have to show them the way.u00a0
