They are inspired by the likes of The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry and The Beatles and with a strong musical footing Shakey Rays will be setting foot in the city today to showcase their musical prowess.
Comprising songwriting duo Dhruva Gautham and Vikram Kannan along with Niranjan Swaminathan and Iuni Yoomi, Shakey Rays likes combining the influences of Blues and Garage Rock with a dash of Punk.
The four-member band is elated to be in the city. “We have come here with an open mind. We will be singing most of our original tracks at the gig and will focus on the ones that are in demand,” says Gautham .
The band was established last year and their first album, Tunes From The Big Belly, was appreciated by critics and music buffs alike. “As a band we continuously try to push our ourselves to the edge to produce music that's different. We are hoping for a good response from people,” concludes Gautham.
