His cousin is the most eligible bachelor in the country at the moment, but Feroze Varun Gandhi, son of Sanjay and Maneka Gandhi, and one of the scions of the Gandhi family, is leaving his more-successful cousin behind in going the family way. Rumour mills had started spinning when mom Maneka was spotted buying saris in Varanasi a couple of months ago.

There's more: exactly a month back, she had introduced her daughter-in-law-to-be Yamini Roy to close associates at a cocktail evening to mark the launch of an exhibition. "Yamini came with her mother Aruna Vasudev. Maneka introduced them to some of her close friends," says a source present at the party.
While how and when Varun met Yamini is still a mystery, sources say the duo might tie the knot in December. Yamini is a graphic designer trained in fine arts and graphics at Sorbonne University in Paris and has graduated in philosophy from St Stephens, Delhi. She hails from Shantiniketan in West Bengal. At the party, however, Yamini appeared to be very shy. "She kept hiding her face from the waiting shutterbugs before finally obliging," the source said.
