Jacqueline Fernandez is presently combining work with pleasure in her homeland, Sri Lanka. She is particularly looking forward to spending time on the island she bought off the south coast with her folks
Says the actress, “After I fulfill my work commitments, I’m taking time off with my family and friends on the island.”

Jacqueline who was crowned Miss Sri Lanka in 2006 attended the beauty pageant over the weekend and has some other events lined up during her stay. “I am also exploring the contemporary art scene in the country,” adds Jacqueline who stars with Salman Khan in the upcoming film Kick.
Last November, Jacqueline had bought an island off the south coast of Lanka as part of a realty project that aimed at roping in the country’s known names as its residents in the luxury villas. Lankan cricketer Kumar Sangakkara apparently also owns an island in the vicinity of Jacqueline’s acquisition.u00a0
