Jeetendra recently paid a surprise visit on the sets of the Star Plus TV show, which features Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel as lead.

"I only watch 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' on television. It's my favourite show and I absolutely love the bubbly character of Ruhi," Jeetendra said in a statement.

The father of Ekta Kapoor and Tusshar Kapoor added: "I think Aditi Bhatia (elder Ruhi on the show post the leap) is doing a wonderful job of playing a tomboyish rock star type character at such a young age."

Aditi, 16, was overwhelmed after getting praised by a senior actor like Jeetendra.

"I'm blessed to be liked and loved by an iconic personality like Jeetendra-ji. Never had I thought that he will like my performance so much that he would personally come down to meet me and appreciate me," Aditi said.

"Firstly I was very nervous to meet or even speak to him, but when I did, I felt on top of the world. He told me that my acting transition from Ruhaan to Ruhi is commendable and called me a true rockstar in real life too," she added.
