Los Angeles: Pop sensation Justin Bieber, 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' and Ariana Grande were honoured at the 2016 Kids' Choice Awards.

Bieber was one of the early winners. The Canadian singer snatched the favourite male singer award during the ceremony at Los Angeles' The Forum, while Grande got to the favourite female singer award.


Girl group Fifth Harmony won the favourite group category, Adele's "Hello" won the votes for favourite song while Shawn Mendes took the favourite new artist.

The favourite collaboration nod went to Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth for their hit "See You Again".

In the movie categories, "Hotel Transylvania 2" won the favourite animated movie while "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" took the favourite movie.

"The Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence and "Daddy's Home" star Will Ferrell won the favourite actress and actor respectively.

In TV, Zendaya Coleman, Jim Parsons and Sofia Vergara all won the acting categories.

Favourite cartoon went to "SpongeBob SquarePants" while favourite talent competition show went to "The Voice".

"The Thundermans" and "The Muppets" were also awarded with favourite TV show and favourite family TV show respectively.
