While we’ve heard lot of actors bring home-cooked food on their film sets, Kangna Ranaut went a step ahead and turned chef for a day.
Sources say that the crew had been shooting in Paris for a month and were tired of having the regular food of pizzas and pastas on the sets. They were craving for Indian dishes and that’s when Kangs decided to don the chef’s hat.
An insider says, “Kangna was a sweetheart and volunteered to cook for the entire crew. She took charge, called for all the ingredients and made a mean bhendi masala and dal tadka. It was a feast for the entire unit.”
And we hear that even after the crew has returned to Mumbai, they keep dropping by Kang’s house to feast on her homemade cooking.
The film’s director Vikas Bahl says, “We were all craving for desi food and Kangna sprung a surprise on us. Her cooking skills give her acting skills good competition. And not just that, Kang’s sister Rangoli’s 5-o-clock adrak chai was to die for!”
