Interestingly, the doctor is also the one to have brought into the world Kareena, sister Karisma and cousin Ranbir.

It was Kareena's close friend and filmmaker Karan Johar, who first revealed the name on Twitter: "My Bebo had a baby boy! Am so so happy! #TaimurAliKhan."

Kareena had dropped a hint about the name on Neha Dhupia's audio show last month; she'd said Saif, being a fan of historicals, would want an old-school name.
