25 year old ticket clerk at CST kills girlfriend's mother, then struck with remorse, throws self in front of train
After killing his girlfriend's mother, a young man committed suicide by lying on railway tracks near Kanjurmarg in the wee hours of Saturday.
Prakash Dudhar, 25 a resident of Ashok Nagar, had visited his girlfriend's house in Borivli on Friday. He wanted to convince her mother to agree to their marriage. However, finding her adamant in her opposition, he killed her and fled the scene.

Dudhar then called his girlfriend Asha Yadav, 22, and confessed to the crime, stating that he had killed her mother with a grinding stone out of frustration.
Dudhar who worked as a ticket booking clerk at CST station, was in a relationship with Asha Yadav, 22 for the past two years. Yadav stays with her mother Lalita Yadav, 58 at Shukarwadi, Borivli east. Yadav also worked as a booking clerk with the Railways. The duo belonged to the same batch and met at a Railways training camp in Chunabhatti, where they became friends. After training, Yadav was posted at Dadar. Dudhar proposed to Yadav last year, but she refused. Senior police inspector Rajendra Thakur of Kasturba police station said that Dudhar began pestering Yadav's mother to get her daughter married to him. However, the mother kept refusing, and said that she would never accept them if they got married.
On Friday, Dudhar landed up at the Yadav residence at 5 pm and began pestering Lalita, who was working in the kitchen. The two broke into an argument and Dudhar smashed Lalita's head with a grinding stone. Seeing her in a pool of blood, he got scared and ran away. He called Yadav, who was at the Borivli station, returning home from work and confessed to the crime. Yadav rushed home and took her mother to a hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.
A case of murder was registered against Dudhar at the Kasturba Marg police station and the police sent out a search team. At 10 pm, the police tracked his mobile to the CST station, but couldn't track him after that. At 1.30 am, the railway police received a call that a man had committed suicide. near the Kanjurmarg railway station. When the police arrived, they found Dudhar's body in two pieces.
