While Karan Johar is known to be one of the savviest filmmakers in B-Town, when it comes to his wallet it's a different story altogether.

During his recent visit tou00a0 London, KJo was robbed of his wallet which contained several credit cards apart from some cash. The director was in England to promote his upcoming release, Kurbaan.
Karan, who carries several credit cards, was unaware that his purse had gone, till he wanted to use his plastic money.

A source says, "Karan prefers to utilise credit cards rather than cash while travelling abroad. He loves to shop in London and makes it a point to visit his favourite spots. He also frequents certain restaurants. It was while he was at one of these places that his wallet was stolen. Karan was in a state of shock when he discovered the theft.

But he is in the habit of misplacing his stuff, so when he discovered the loss he immediately called up the credit card companies (who are also used to him!) and cancelled them."

Rescue act
Adds the source, "He had to call up his friends in London and borrow money from them to tide over the crisis."
KJo admits to the loss of his credit cards. But he claims, "I lost them before I went to London. Moreover, I don't want talk about such silly things. I am used to losing my credit cards all the time."
