Nausheen will be seen doing a cameo in the show as Rahat, a ruthless and authoritative woman.
"I am very excited to be part of 'Gangaa'. I was consciously looking at doing a strong women oriented role and then Rahat came into my life.
"Rahat's life mission is to lend a helping hand to women in distress but not in a charitable way, but by inspiring and encouraging them to fight their own battles and not give up. Gangaa’s indomitable spirit and resilience is what will attract her. I am really excited and looking forward to playing this character," she added.
'Gangaa', aired on &TV, showcases the story about a girl's indomitable spirit and her will to survive.
The show also features Aditi Sharma and Vishal Vashishtha.
