Nia Sharma walked out of the show and now the makers have roped in some one new
Zee TV’s popular show Jamai Raja is taking another 20 year leap. This would mean Sid and Roshni (played by Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma) will grow old on the show. Now we hear that Nia walked out of the show because she was not ready to play a mother at such a young age. Ravi Dubey will be seen playing Sid and Roshni’s son.

Now the makers we hear were auditioning several actors for the said role. In fact, Mahhi Vij who recently finished shooting Balika Vadhu was also one of the contenders for the role. Along with Mahhi, the makers even auditioned Shritama Mukherjee for the role and had kept the actress hanging. “I am waiting for the makers of Jamai Raja to respond. Once I have a clear picture of whether I am in or not, I can move on with my life. If I know it’s not happening then I can start auditioning for other shows. But that’s how the industry works.”
According to the latest buzz, the makers have already roped in Sushmita Bhandari in place of Nia. So both Mahhi and Shritama didn’t get this one. But whether it was good luck or bad, we’ll determine as the leap goes on floor. Too early to decide anything just yet, right?
