Bhandarkar took to Twitter to share his views about his 2008 film.

The film unearthed hidden secrets of the fashion industry and showcased the extent to which an aspiring model goes to make a place for herself. It narrated the journey of Priyanka's character -- a small town girl who scaled new heights in the modelling world, followed by her downfall due to drugs and alcohol addiction.
'Fashion', which also starred Mugdha Godse, Samir Soni and Arbaaz Khan, performed well at the box office and got rave reviews. Priyanka took home a National Award in the Best Actress category, and Kangana also clinched the national honour in supporting role category.
