The star’s tech-savvy hubby, who believes that the web is where the future lies, has been taking a keen interest in Madhuri presence in the virtual world.
After the Nenes decided to relocate to Mumbai in 2011 from the US, they floated a company (named after their initials) that first delved into a web application and portal on Madhuri exclusively followed by the online dance class and now the health portal.
Says Madhuri, “We will be launching a health portal soon and being a doctor, it’s my husband’s expertise behind it. Of course I will also be the face of it… it is our company after all!”
She adds, “He keeps telling me everything will be virtual in the years to come so let us make a start right now. The health portal is his brainwave where people can ask, talk and discuss health issues. He has been busy planning for it for a while, it required a lot of aspects which he is looking into.”
Ever since the star’s hubby moved to Mumbai, there had been a lot of speculation as to why he did not take up an assignment in a hospital in Mumbai. It seems now that the doctor could have had his pet project up his sleeve for a while.
Incidentally, Dance With Madhuri, the online dance academy was also conceptualised by Nene to enable youngsters fulfill their dream of dancing like Madhuri. “My passion for dancing is well known, so teaching online was the best possible way to reach out to my fans worldwide,” adds Madhuri.
