Mahesh Thakur, who has usually flaunted a clean-shaven look onscreen, will next be seen sporting a stubble in the upcoming show 'Ishqbaaaz'. He says that he never thought of flaunting such a look on TV.
"It never occurred to me that I can sport a stubble on screen given the kind of roles I was playing. It was never an option," Mahesh, who has previously appeared in shows like 'Tu Tu Main Main', 'Shararat' and 'Sasural Genda Phool', said in a statement.
"But now that I am breaking the monotony by playing a grey-shaded character, Tej Singh Oberoi, it was only more befitting to sport a stubble. It gives me a different feel altogether and is quite a positive change that I am getting good feedback for as well," he added.
'Ishqbaaaz', which will be aired on Star Plus, will narrates the story of three brothers who are divided by family, but united by their bond with each other.
The show will feature actors Nakuul Mehta, Kunal Jaisingh and Leenesh Mattoo in the lead.
