Bollywood actor Aamir Khan wants his film '3 idiots' a tax free film and should be shown on Doordarshan while asserting that its an anti-ragging movie.

Aamir along with his co-stars and Director Rajkumar Hirani, who hails from city, was here for the show, told a press conference here today that the film has a strong social message to the society.

Indeed the film is based against ragging, he added. On some political parties opposing it, Hirani and Aamir pleaded innocence.

To a question on suicide committed by three school children in Mumbai, he said these days children are under considerable stress and parents are pressurising them to do certain things which the child does not want and not liking. Parents should realise children's likings and dislikings and allow them to grow, he said. Children need counselling and they should not left alone or ignored. Children are more alert nowadays, he added. Talking about his movie, Aamir said, 'Tare Jamin Par' was based on primary education while '3 idiots' was on higher education system. Lauding the present education system, Aamir said, "Our Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Kapil Sibal was doing good job in bringing changes in the education system and we all should support him."
