Manjiri, who will be seen as a painter in her upcoming film, talks to CS about how naughty she was as a child:

Stage act
I was and am a brat, yet I was a blue-eyed girl and would get pampered by my teachers a lot. However, summers would keep me occupied with drawing and painting as they filled my days with colour and bright happiness. But my favourite past-time would be to stage a mock fight with my mother. I would go to the extent of writing a letter to her in Hindi as to how I was leaving home, as I couldn't suffer her abuse and ill treatment of me anymore, and would go and hide in a room or the lawn. My mom was such a good sport that she would play along and cry and plead with me to stay back.

Drama kid

I was such a dramatic child that whenever relatives would come to our place, I'd run to them and tell them how cruel my mother was and how I was deprived as a child. They'd be shocked and my mother would come and rescue them from my idiosyncrasies. But I'd do the same with stranger passing our gate or invite them in our house saying my mom cooked delicious food. I'd do crazy things and let me tell you that nothing has changed!
