The Army had confirmed on Wednesday that two of its soldiers were first shot dead by Pakistani troops and then beheaded, and that the head of one of the soldiers had not been found.

India had summoned the Pakistani High Commissioner Salman Bashir to lodge its protest over the killing.
Political parties, mainly the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have called for tough action against Pakistan.
