Two 34-year-old men were handed over to the police for misbehaving with the female staff of IndiGo airline. The incident took place on May 14, when Delhi residents Avinash Singh and Anand Dubey arrived at Mumbai airport late for their flight (6E-138), scheduled at 6.45 pm.

The men got angry when the staff at the counter said that their boarding passes could not be issued, since they were late.
"The two passengers not only used abusive language but also got very close to our female staff.

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) had to get involved in order to control them," said IndiGo in their official statement.

The men were taken to the Airport Police station at around 8.30 pm. The 21-year-old staffer at the check-in counter accompanied the duo to file the complaint.

An airport police official said, "A non-cognisable offence entry has been made regarding this issue."
