Singing reality show to have contestants with moms as gurus
A new season of Voice of India begins tonight.
In its new format it has been titled Mummy Ke Superstars as apart from being a singing competition, it also explores the mother-child relationship.
Hosted by Akriti Kakkar and Ali Asgar, the 13 week show will have the Vishal-Shekhar duo along with Shubha Mudgal as judges.
Twelve kids in the age group of 10-16 years have been shortlisted for the contest.
The contestants from Mumbai include Sayali Kishor Kambli, Swastika Bandyopad-hyay and Akash Prakash Jagdhane.
