The three day-long strike that kept around 1,700 Meru Cabs off the roads was called off on Saturday. The Nitish Rane-led Swabhimaan Sanghatan intervened and claimed that all five demands of the Meru union have been accepted and 21 drivers who were suspended had been reinstated.
Rajesh Puri, CEO Meru Cabs said, "By Sunday, the entire fleet of 2,000 cabs will be back on the roads."
