Does Varun realise the fallout of his remarks? The highly objectionable slang used by Varun in his speech could spark off violent communal clashes in the country. Varun Gandhi is caught in the line of fire because of his provoking speech. Even his own party, the BJP have slammed him for his remarks directed at the minority community.
We do not need leaders like Varun Gandhi to represent us. It's shocking that such biased remarks have come from a GenY politician. The 28-year-old's speech has particularly saddened the nation because it comes from the member of the Gandhi family, who have been at the helm of the country's affairs for decades.
Varun claims that the speech has been tampered with, but there are few who believe him. The young Gandhi is educated and has always been seen as a man with vision, but his speech clearly indicates otherwise.
It looks like it's the end of the road as far as Varun's political career goes.
