Moral cops attack youth in Mangalore
The moral cops in Mangalore attacked a youth while he was having juice with his friends at Balmath in Mangalore on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred when Akheel, working in a private firm, was having juice with his friends Anu Smitha and Susheela. Akheel's father Abdul Khader and Smitha's father are working together at New Mangalore port and both the families have a cordial relationship.

When Akheel saw Smitha along with her friend Susheela, he offered them a juice and they went to a shop.
Soonu00a0a group of four young men in two motorcycles approached Akheel and asked whether he was a Muslim. When he replied in positive the group slapped him and dragged him on to the road and beat him up in full public view. They soon fled the scene even as the public watched the whole incident as mute spectators.
Tension gripped the city soon after the news spread like wildfire.
Police soon rushed to the spot and are yet to ascertain the identity of the miscreants.
