A case has been registered against a woman for colluding with her boyfriend and sister in the sexual abuse of her 15-year-old daughter and giving false information to the police.
In January, the teenager, said officers at the Parksite police station in Vikhroli, had lodged a complaint against her father accusing him of raping her.

However, when the cops and members of the Child Welfare Committee counselled the girl, she revealed that the complaint was false and that it was actually her mother’s boyfriend who was sexually abusing her.

Based on the report filed by the CWC, the Parksite police on Friday registered a case against the mother, her sister and boyfriend identified as Anil Pol. A police officer said, “We have registered a case under various section of Protection Of Children From Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) 2012 along with Sections 354, 323, 324, 342 and 506 of the IPC.”
Sources said that the girl’s parents got divorced in 2007 and the mother retained custody while the father returned to his village in Shrigonda, Ahmednagar district. A police officer said, “The mother feared that the girl had a soft corner for her father and would return to him.”
On January 14, the girl went missing after which a complaint was registered with the Parksite police station. On January 19, she returned home. Police said that the girl had gone to visit
her father.
A police officer said, “To make the false case stronger, the accused went to the village in Shrigonda and planted the girl’s gold chain inside her father’s home. They also planted other evidence to frame the father.”
The cops registered an FIR against the father on February 28. When she was being counselled by the CWC, the teen revealed the truth. The girl is currently at the children’s remand home in Dongri.
