According to the woman’s complaint, she was called to a bungalow in a Mhada colony at Four Bungalows in Andheri (West) to audition for a film role. She went to the address about two days ago and saw more than seven to eight men sitting there.

She stated in her complaint to the police officers that once she was inside the house, the men stripped her and photographed her. She tried to escape but the accused stopped her and demanded Rs 1 lakh if she wanted the pictures not to get published in newspapers or circulated on the Internet.

Woman got scared
The woman said she got scared and rushed to the Versova police station to lodge the complaint.

“We searched the bungalow but did not find anything. We have, however, identified four to five men — local newspaper reporters — who were present in the house. We are tracing them,” said PI Subhash Vele from the Versova police station.

Vele also said that they have detained one person and are investigating the case.
