Mumbai's young left-arm spinner Sidak Singh has yet again been reported for a suspect bowling action by the BCCI.

Sidak, 18, who played seven T20 games in 2015, taking six wickets, needs to get his bowling action cleared by the Indian cricket board.
Sidak along with Mumbai off-spinner Ankush Jaiswal (25) and few other bowlers had undergone biomechanical tests at the Sri Ramchandra Arthroscopy and Sports Science Centre in Chennai on July 11. On July 28, Jaiswal's bowling action had been cleared, but Sidak had to wait longer as his result was yet to be declared.
Confirming the development, MCA Joint Secretary Dr Unmesh Khanvilkar told mid-day that Mumbai's bowling coach Omkar Salvi will work on Sidak's bowling action. "Sidak is not allowed to bowl till his action is cleared by the BCCI. We (MCA) will again work on his bowling action at our indoor academy and then send him to Chennai for the bowling action clearance," said Khanvilkar.
Sidak is confident about coming out of this trying phase. "I am working hard on my bowling action with Omkar sir. It's a frustrating time as I want to play.
But, I am confident of correcting my action and will play for Mumbai again," said Sidak.
Two Mumbai women's cricketers -- Fatima Jaffer and Mugdha Joshi -- both part-time medium pacers too have been stopped from bowling till their actions are cleared.
On the over-age issue in Mumbai cricket, Khanvilkar informed that a total of 50 players have been banned from playing local tournaments due to age fudging or unsatisfactory birth certificates/proof of residence. Also, 48 bowlers who were reported for suspect bowling actions will not be allowed to take part in MCA-registered tournaments till their actions are cleared by the association. Khanvilkar said the process of rectifying the actions of local bowlers would start soon.
