Dear Diana, My girlfriend went to her village almost a month ago and hasn't yet returned. She has not even contacted me since.
She told me she’s going with her parents to attend a religious function and will be back in a week to 10 days. Her cell phone number remains unavailable. I have a hunch that her parents married her off to someone from their community, much against her wishes. I’m going crazy here without her. What should I do?

Your thinking may be right or may be not. If she really cared for you, she would have tried to get in touch with you. You are assuming that she has got married. What if they extended their visit? May be the village they are in falls outside the network area, so there is no way she can reach you. Meanwhile try getting in touch with her other family members here as well as her pals. You are panicking, so to put your fears at rest, try finding out what is happening on their end from them.
