My journey has been full of ups and downs. What helped me was my resolve since childhood to be an actor. The industry teaches you many lessons, I learnt to deal with good and bad people and situations. Though the TV industry has its share of warm people too.u00a0

Memorable roles
Playing Jay Khurana in the show Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani was a fantastic experience. I played the role of a werewolf who falls in love with the heroine. Playing a man and an animal -- will be my most memorable role to date.
Looks matter
Our industry demands us to always look good and have a presentable physique. It is one’s looks that count most for makers. Thankfully, I fit in.
Of course, there are exceptions to the rule like Nawazuddin Siddiqui or Irrfan Khan where talent supersedes good looks.
Fiction and reality shows
Being part of a dance reality show was a liberating feeling as you don’t have to put on an act. While playing a character, you have to limit yourself to the character sketch and thereby limit yourself as an actor. u00a0
