New York: "Tennis stars arriving in the greatest city in the world for the US Open this week may find it difficult to keep their mind on the court with Broadway, five-star restaurants, Museum Mile and Yankee Stadium so close at hand.

Fortunately, Maria Sharapova has a strategy when in town," says a report in nydailynews.com.

Sharapova wants to take it easy when it comes to sightseeing and has planned to play it cool on her day off during the last Grand Slam of the year that starts today.

"I have a day off, I'll try to see one thing rather than 10 things, or visit one restaurant on my list rather than all of them," she told Confidenti@l.

The Russian tennis heartthrob also revealed that she is not excited about clubbing so places like Avenue or 1Oak won't attract any temptations. "I've never been a big clubber.

"I'd usually prefer going to a place where you can have a great dinner and enjoy a couple drinks with friends — somewhere like Eataly where you just go around eating Italian food nonstop," the French Open champion said at the launch of the Council of Fashion Designers of America's campaign for the 20th anniversary of its Fashion Targets Breast Cancer drive.
