The British track and field athlete has been warned not to mess about during dancing rehearsals by partner Natalie Lowe, who fears her job could be at stake. The couple are due to perform the American Smooth to Bryan Adam's hit Everything I Do on the dance show Strictly Come Dancing.
"Don't muck up. I want to keep my job next year. We have to be the best we can be each week," Lowe, who claims she could be axed next year if they don't do well, told Rutherford according to a report in The Sun.
Rutherford admitted there was more messing about than dance steps. He said: "We laugh probably more than we do anything else in rehearsals."
