A new online library offers a range of genres, discussion forums and book-exchange opportunities
If you can't get enough of books, but find it harrowing to trudge to your neighbourhood library to rummage through dusty piles, here's an online library that allows you to pick book from across genres without leaving your home. Wordbuffs.com offers you books, reviews and discussion forums can participate in. 
Choose from fiction, non-fiction, kids, travelogues, cookbooks, memoirs and romantic paperbacks. You will encounter likes of Agatha Christie, Amitav Ghosh, Anita Desai, Arthur Conan Doyle and Barbara Robinson are who you will encounter. "The idea stemmed from a vast collection of books I have. When my kids and I are done reading, we've no idea what to do with them," says Geetanjalee Krishna of Wordbuffs.
The home page contains interesting features across sections tagged Editor's Picks, Did You Know, Latest Reviews and Bestsellers. You can pick from two kinds of memberships: Bookswap offers you a chance to swap five books with the website (these will be delivered to your residence) while Book Reviews gives you the chance to turn critic and review titles.
The discussion board invites you to post a new topic or reply and participating in an ongoing debate. "We want to make it an interactive experience. The next step is to introduce author forums and columns," says Geetanjalee.
