The campaigners of Pink Chaddi campaign have removed the collection boxes at Alternative Law Forum Office after the unprecedented response from the public started disturbing the working of the office.

The Pink Chaddi campaignersu00a0 had asked people to send pink colour panties to be sent to Sri Ram Sene leader Muthalik in protest against his moral policing.u00a0

"The collection boxes have been removed in Bangalore because it's hindering our day-to-day work. Also this is drawing too much of unwanted media attention," said Nitin, who's part of the campaign.

Those still wishing to take part in the campaign can send their chaddis directly to the Sene's office.

The campaign got immense support from the public with 16,139 people from all over the city giving away chaddis as a rebuke to the moral policing by Muthalik's gang.

Pink collection boxes were put up near Infantry Road and at the Alternative Law Forum Office. Both the boxes have been removed.
