Prashantt Guptha, who features in Bharat Jain’s upcoming film '6-5=2', is also the cinematographer of the film. He says, "Getting behind the camera was a fantastic experience as it is a rarity for an actor.
Actors becoming directors or producers, but actually holding the camera and shooting portions of your own film is a great learning experience. It made sense in a film like '6-5=2' since the whole story is seen as found-footage through my lens.
This is an internationally emerging genre which has hardly or never yet been seen in India. The experience also instilled in me deep respect for cinematographers. I play an aspiring cinematographer on an adventure with a few friends. It’s our story, our tragedy, all eventually caught on camera."
'6-5=2' has been adapted from a Kannada film of the same name. The film releases on November 14.
