What's it about: He's a cross between Jason Bourne and Spiderman. Prince (Oberoi) is a one-man wonder who commits the biggest robbery of his life only to wake up and realise his memory has been erased.

Not knowing who he is, or what he's done, Prince has to rely on random people who show up claiming to be his buddies.

However, trust isn't an asset, as he finds not one but three different girls claiming to be his girlfriend, Maya.

Admist all this chaos and confusion, he has to trace down an ancient relic a coin that has magical powers and give it back to its rightful owner.

Set mostly in Durban, the film has some breath-taking visuals and rivetting action scenes to keep you entertained.

What's hot: The visuals and actions scenes justify the mammoth budget the film boasts of. The opening robbery scene of the diamonds (though inspired by Mission Impossible) is still engaging and well executed.

There are enough gadgets, gizmos, car chases and high altitude drops to keep the tempo going. Apart from the action sequences, it's the special effects that work in the film's favour.

Vivek is in good form and at ease with his character. Despite the burden of playing an almost-superhero the actor seems to be most happy jumping down ravines or kicking some butt.

The Aye Mere Khuda track by Atif Aslam is hummable. Vishnu Rao's cinematography is a delight with gorgeous shots of Durban.

What's not: Shiraz Ahmed's screenplay has a Race hangover to it. The script has so many unnecessary twists and turns that it looks like a botox job gone bad.

Granted it's a thriller and that suspense and drama are its key elements, but there should have been some logicalu00a0 premise.

Also, if Prince is human, how does he manage to dodge very bullet coming his way? Or parachute down a high rise building on a moving truck.

Yes we are to leave our brains at home, but what about our limited patience? Just when you feel that the story is reaching a logical conclusion, there's another turn that leads to nowhere.

Had the focus been on technique rather than style the same plot could have been told in a better way? Second half has moments where the action and visuals are so heavy that they seem gimmicky.

What to do:Those who love mindless thrillers filled with loud explosions and high- speed car chases might enjoy Prince.
