If some media reports are to be believed, Times Now has found its new Editor-in-Chief. Rahul Shivshankar, who is presently the Editor-in-Chief of NewsX, is alls set to replace Arnab Goswami, who became the face of the channel as well as it flagship show, The Newshour.
Shivshankar has worked under Goswami earlier, and was part of the launch team of Times Now, when the channel went on air a decade back. Goswami shocked everyone when he resigned as Editor-in-Chief of Times Now at the start of this month. A report in the TheNewsMinute claims that Shivshankar will join Times Now as the new Editor-in-Chief from December 15.
Shivshankar has experience of over 20 years in journalism. Apart from NewsX and Times Now, he has worked with the India Today group as well.
I want to thank all of you for your good wishes. Truly humbled by the number of messages and tweets today.— Rahul Shivshankar (@RShivshankar) November 21, 2016
