Ramona Arena is a multi-tasker. How else do you categorise someone who's been a VJ, a television host, a singer, an RJ and a theatre and film actor!

Ramona Arena is born to perform!

After a hiatus of ten years, Ramona’s back on the stage with a theatre performance Broadway & Beyond. The multi-faceted girl tells CS about balancing all her roles:

Timeless classic
I’ve worked with Raell exactly a decade ago on Oliver. So after my five year hiatus, she heard I was back and called me to ask if I’d like to be a part of this musical. I jumped at the opportunity to work with them again, be on stage again amongst some of India’s most talented artists and best of all; sing, dance to and enact some of Broadway’s hugest, timeless classics that I’ve grown up loving.

Stage smart
Theatre for me is a very important space, almost like a training ground for anyone that wants to be an actor or performer. There are so many different kinds of theatre to choose from and there is so much to learn from every performance, every co-actor and every audience. Improvisation is key. And hell yes! I was born to perform, born to entertain and born to be on stage. (smiles)

What a rush!
It isn’t a walk in the park trying to balance my schedule with all the different kinds of work, friends, family etc — that’s the only time I feel like a nervous scatter-brained train wreck! Other than that, I love it. It’s a constant adrenalin rush and I cannot imagine living life any other way. u00a0
