Rhea roots for sis Sonam

There's more sibling revelry than rivalry here. We meet Sonam's feisty sister, Rhea, at father Anil Kapoor's Juhu office. The smartly-turned out Rhea (black trousers, tee and a jacket) is her own distinct person, yet reminds you of Sonam as she talks animatedly about the highs and lows of living, loving and working with her sister. "Producing Aisha with my sister Sonam was like slow death. Thisu00a0 is the first film that I have produced so Sona thought she could bully her 'little sister'; but she soon realised she can't," laughs the younger Kapoor.

ON HEAVY HOGGING:
Sona and I had loads of fun while making the film -- we fought, made-up and ate a lot. Considering her character is so fashion-conscious, I told Sona that she should get into shape; and she worked hard at it. But we shot in Delhi, which is like the food capital. We are half-Punjabi, half-Sindhi so we love everything heavy and fried. However, that creates a cholesterol bomb, which blasts on your thighs.

FIGHTING WITH SONAM: We had a shoot in the night and I kept telling Sona to sleep during the day to look fresh for the shoot but she insisted on watching a season of the TV serial, House, the entire day. Sure enough, when she came to shoot, she said, "Riyu, I'm really tired"and I snapped, "Stop complaining". Bas, Pandora's box was opened. She said, 'Don't talk to me like that'. But soon thereafter, she came and sat on my lap and said, 'I'm hungry and in a bad mood. I'm looking bad too and my dark circles are showing'. We resolve every fight in an hour; though before the resolution, the decibel levels go really high.

SONAM STEALS CLOTHES: Sonam also has this annoying habit of taking my clothes without asking me. We fit into each other's clothes very easily. Sona doesn't know how to shop for herself though she is a whiz at mixing and matching her clothes. I had bought this new pair of black pants and had warned Sonam not to wear them. Sonam airily said, "I don't need your clothes, I have my own." When I couldn't find my new pants, I called her up. At first, she said, "I'm at a shoot, don't disturb me," but admitted later, "Riyu, actually I'm wearing them!"

THE WORKAHOLIC KAPOORS: Sonam is like dad -- both can't focus on anything except their work. She has lost expensive watches and bracelets. Sonam is always in her own space. I am generally not like that but ever since I began working on Aisha, I have become like Anil Kapoor -- people keep chatting and I walk out of the room, lost to the world.

SONAM'S MORE EMOTIONAL: When it comes to convincing our parents, Sonam is very emotional, she gets hysterical; I put things in the right perspective. I'm her translator. Sonam and I are always in each other's room. All our friends are common. We are each other's best friends.

NO ROMANCE FOR RHEA: Sonam plays an incorrigible matchmaker in Aisha and she does try the same with me. She's always saying things like, "Why don't you go out with that guy? He's so cute." Sonam is a romantic, whereas I have no interest in matchmaking. If you want, I can buy you a drink for courage (laughs).

HOW THE TRIO BOND: She also loves playing older sister and advises me about who I'm friends with etc. But there's no sibling rivalry. Sonam won't like being a producer and I didn't want to be a heroine. We three siblings have a unique relation with each other. Harsh and I are like buddies -- ask me about him and I will say, "Harsh can go jump in a well" while Sona and he have a very elder-sister-younger-brother relationship. They just understand each other even without speaking; and both have the acting keeda in them.u00a0
