As Riteish Deshmukh's latest film 'Banjo' releases today, the actor says that he is an exciting phase of his career. An architect by profession and an actor by chance, he quips, "I never thought I would survive so long in Bollywood. I am glad to have the chance to work with some of the biggest names in the industry." But family remains on top of his priority list. The actor who recently became a proud papa second time over, excitedly tells us, "I am enjoying fatherhood all over again. Currently I am promoting 'Banjo', but at the same time I am making an effort to reach home as early as possible every day. I want to spend maximum time with my kids and wife," the actor says.

Talking about his kids – Riaan (one and a half years) and Rahyl (four months), he says, "My older son Riaan is naughty, but he is bonding well with Rahyl. He is enjoying being the elder brother. Moreover, Genelia is a hands-on mother disciplining and pampering them in equal measures. She is thoroughly . Once in a while I do try and give her a break by taking over from her, but she brushes me aside (laughs)."
Genelia, who took a break from acting after her son Riaan's birth is an equally firm producer, Riteish adds. "I will soon get busy with my next two Marathi films - Mauli (sequel to his first Marathi film Lai Bhaari) and Chatrapati Shivaji both of which will be produced under his banner. Genelia overlooks the entire functioning of his production house. "My job is to creatively green light a project and Genelia takes it over from there. She is good in handling finances, as she has tried her hands at production in the South earlier. Right from managing technicians to their payments, she is brilliant at her job. In fact we are scripting both the films. Right now, our focus is just Marathi movies, but if a good Bollywood script comes our way, we will lap it up."
