Rohan Sippy's next film has a woman-centric theme
After his last production Nautanki Saala, which he also directed, Rohan Sippy is now working on a woman-centric subject for his next
The film produced by him is directed by debutant Charudutt Acharya.
Says Sippy, “The script was among those selected for Mumbai Mantra-Sundance Institute Screenwriters Lab 2012. It is the story of a girl who runs a cable network.”
The script was apparently chosen through an evaluation process of submissions from around the world, including the United States and France for the screenwriters’ lab.
Adds Sippy, “We have already shot about 70 per cent of the film. Charudutt wrote the dialogues for my earlier film Dum Maaro Dum. He also did the screenplay and dialogues for Nautanki Saala. It consists of an ensemble cast.”
Mere Dad Ki Maruti actress Rhea Chakraborty, Ali Fazal, Anupam Kher and Raghav Juyal, who was part of a dance reality show, feature in the film.
