Rotary Kharghar brings e-learning to Murbi school

Learning just got easier for nearly 400 students studying at a school in Murbi, Kharghar. As part of its e-learning initiative, Rotary Kharghar implemented its Rotary Distance Education Programme (RDEP) at the Parishad Prathmik Shala in Raigad zilla recently.

The highly effective e-learning system combines audio-visual learning and covers class-wise, subject-wise, and chapter-wise curriculum from Std I to X of the state board. Prabal Kansal, president of Rotary Kharghar, said, “RDEP being an audio-visual version of text books, will transform the way student reads, listens, understands, learns and responds.

The project shall bring in a wave of e-learning across the country and Maharashtra is just the beginning.” The project is being installed in Murbi in association with ONGC and it is expected to benefit over 400 students studying at this school.u00a0
