St Petersburg: Russian Mikhail Youzhny fought back from the brink of defeat to claim a shock win over Wimbledon finalist Milos Raonic at the St Petersburg Open. Youzhny was just two points from elimination in a pivotal second-set tie-break in his second-round encounter with second seed, but recovered to win 2-6, 7-6 (8/6), 6-4.
Third seed Tomas Berdych edged out Andrey Kuznetsov 6-3, 2-6, 7-6 (7/4) while Viktor Troicki beat fellow Serbian Dusan Lajovic 6-4, 6-4.
